Member Benefits Why should a business join the Marion Chamber of Commerce? The answer is the Marion Chamber of Commerce is the region's largest and most active chamber with over 650 members representing more than 500 area businesses, organizations, and industry. The chamber supports the growth of area business and keeps a constant communication with local and state government regarding legislative issues effecting all businesses. City and County Maps The Chamber publishes a map every two to three years that is used to mail out to all of the informational requests we get. The advertising panels on the map are available to Chamber members only, 15,000 copies are used in this manner. The maps are also available for members use. Mailing Labels To assist members with their own direct mailings, sets of our mailing list is available on labels to our members for $25.00. Newsletter Inserts Members may place a full-page insert in our newsletter for $125.00 per insert (Members furnish the inserts). Marion Community Profile Book This book is used for economic development. It lists twelve vital areas of our community that a potential new business, organization or resident would be interested in. Only Chamber members are allowed to advertise in this book. Notary Services Free to members. Referrals The Chamber staff responds to the hundreds of inquires received by our office each year by giving lists of appropriate members. Members ONLY are referred as business leads. Racks for Member Information Rack space is available for members to display their business brochures and business cards for visitors to our office. Monthly Luncheons The Greater Marion Area Chamber of Commerce has the deserved reputation as having the best-attended membership luncheon. Featured speakers address current and relevant topics to our members. Resources For public references, community demographics, lists of major employers, local and area phone directories, lists of clubs and organizations, local maps and lists of local area, state and national legislative contacts are at the Chamber office. Business Advocacy The Chamber is the organized voice of business for the Greater Marion Area. We look for potential opportunities and challenges for our area and work with our members to continue making this the best possible place to live and work. Business Seminars Seminars on topics of interest to our membership are offered as needed. Committees One of the best networking opportunities available through the Chamber is for you to be a part of one of the many active Committees that work on community events and Chamber Standing Committees.
