PROGRAMS & EVENTS

Chamber Day in Springfield

This legislatively-focused event is sponsored by the Illinois Chamber of Commerce at the IACCE and takes place in Springfield. It is an advocacy effort to let lawmakers know chambers must be heard in any major policy decision impacting Illinois employers.

Members of the Business Advocacy Task Force attend this event to communicate with local representatives, but also represent Southern Illinois at the state level. Networking with chamber leaders across the state increases awareness of Southern Illinois as a business and cultural location.

Regional Lesgislative Summit

This event is hosted by the Southern Illinois Regional Chambers and is an opportunity for Springfield leaders to share the podium with local political leaders. Attendees share lunch, information, and political awareness of issues facing Illinois.
