Hidden Holiday Magic

Shop Local. Celebrate Community. Discover the Magic.

This holiday season, the Marion Chamber of Commerce invites you to experience Marion’s Hidden Holiday Magic—a community-wide celebration of the small businesses that make our town shine. When you shop local, you help keep our community vibrant, strong, and full of opportunity. Every purchase strengthens a dream, supports a family, and fuels the heartbeat of Marion and Southern Illinois.

To kick off Small Business Saturday, we’re launching a special campaign and a massive holiday giveaway basket filled with treasures from incredible local businesses. It’s our way of celebrating the entrepreneurs, makers, and service providers who add warmth, charm, and uniqueness to our community.

Why Shop Local?

When you shop at Marion’s small businesses, you’re doing more than finding the perfect holiday gifts—you’re investing directly in your neighbors.
Local spending:

• Keeps dollars in our community, supporting jobs and local reinvestment

• Strengthens the local economy, allowing small businesses to thrive

• Builds a vibrant, diverse marketplace full of unique products and personalized service

• Helps families, entrepreneurs, and artisans who pour passion into their work

Every receipt is a ripple that supports schools, parks, infrastructure, and the community we all love.
