Why Membership?
The answer is the Marion Chamber of Commerce is one of the region’s most active Chambers with more than 1100 contacts representing more than 370 area businesses, organizations, and industries. The Chamber is focused on providing Visibility, Growth, and Credibility to your business.
As a 100% member supported organization, we want to provide you with options and resources that are reflective of your Chamber partnership, flexible enough to meet your budget needs, provide Chamber program support options that align with your company’s mission, and support the Chamber with resources to meet program and business community needs.
Along with the free marketing resources provided to our members, we have an assortment of additional opportunities to promote your business within the Chamber network and support the Chamber’s 2023 – 2025 Strategic Plan.
Our Dues Structure
Updated in 2023, our ‘investment’ based system includes promotional value with your annual membership investment.
Foundation: $300 – Includes General Benefits, 1 voting member and name on Traveling Banner.
Tradition: $550 – Includes Foundation Level Benefits, 2 voting members, Web Banner on marionillinois.com for a quarter, and Logo on Traveling Banner.
Heritage: $950 – Includes Tradition Level Benefits, 3 Voting Members, Logo on Luncheon Table Cards, ability to add additional memberships for $175 at the Foundation Level, and event sponsorship discounts. Their investment enables further Chamber program development.
Legend: $2300 – Includes Heritage Level Benefits, 4 voting members, Logo on Luncheon PPT Info Slides, ability to add additional memberships for $175 at the Foundation Level, and event sponsorship discounts. Their investment enables further Chamber program development.
Small Non-Profits / Government Members: $200
- Small Non-Profits with fewer than 15 employees. Must Provide documentation.

Includes a member directory and spotlights community information. Printed every few years with 5,000 books printed per issue.

In partnership with the City of Marion and the Park District, spotlight your business with promo items or information to new residents in our area.

Our mailing list is available by request. We do not provide our e-mail list.

Usage Our conference room is free to use during normal business hours for Chamber members.

Through our IACCE membership, MetLife and Aetna customers qualify for am insurance discount. Contact your insurance provider or the Chamber for more details. Through the Illinois Chamber, we have insurance discounts through United Healthcare.
Referrals
The Chamber staff responds to the hundreds of inquires received by our office each year by giving lists of appropriate members.

Affordable Gas and Electric offers exclusive opportunities to save BIG on electricity, natural gas, and solar energy bills.

Hosted by fellow members and partner organizations, these training sessions are valuable to your employees and business operations. Most paid workshops include continuing Education Credits.
Expand Your Membership
Additional Voting Members: $100 each with General Benefits.
Additional Memberships – Heritage and Legend Level Members that own additional business can purchase additional memberships at a rate of $175. These discounted memberships are treated as Foundation Level members.
Voting Members & Member Logins
Voting Member vs. List Only – Voting Member(s) is/are main contacts between the organization and the Chamber. Voting members are listed on print and online directories, take part in board elections by being on the ballot or voting for our Board of Directors. They also vote on selected ‘of the year’ award honorees. Depending on your membership level, you can have more than one voting member and additional voting members can be purchased at $100 each. They must share the business name of the main membership holder but can be at a separate location. Voting members are given login info to keep their information current. List Only are additional non-voting staff members that can be added to the Member account and receive e-communication and attend events/programs.
