Membership Levels

Renewal dues must be paid by Jan 31^st to be on the Traveling Banner.

Foundation: $300 - Includes General Benefits, 1 voting member and name on Traveling Banner.

Tradition: $550 – Includes Foundation Level Benefits, 2 voting members, Web Banner on marionillinois.com for a quarter, and Logo on Traveling Banner.

Heritage: $950 – Includes Tradition Level Benefits, 3 Voting Members, Logo on Luncheon Table Cards, ability to add additional memberships for $175 at the Foundation Level, and event sponsorship discounts. Their investment enables further Chamber program development.

Legend: $2300 – Includes Heritage Level Benefits, 4 voting members, Logo on Luncheon PPT Info Slides, ability to add additional memberships for $175 at the Foundation Level, and event sponsorship discounts. Their investment enables further Chamber program development.

Small Non-Profits / Government Members: $200

• Small Non-Profits with fewer than 15 employees. Must Provide documentation.
• Government entities
• General Benefits & 1 voting member

Individual: $250 and Student: $150 - Individual Memberships are for non-business members who would like to be connected with the Marion Chamber of Commerce. If you wish for your membership to be associated with your business/organization, you must choose one of the employee-based membership categories. All individual memberships will only list the individual’s name and not their business or organization in any part of the listing (including category). Students must provide school ID.

• Additional Voting Members: $100 each with General Benefits. 

FAQ

Voting Member vs. List Only – Voting Member(s) is/are main contacts between the organization and the Chamber. Voting members are listed on print and online directories, take part in board elections by being on the ballot or voting for our Board of Directors. They also vote on selected ‘of the year’ award honorees. Depending on your membership level, you can have more than one voting member and additional voting members can be purchased at $100 each. They must share the business name of the main membership holder but can be at a separate location. Voting members are given login info to keep their information current. List Only are additional non-voting staff members that can be added to the Member account and receive e-communication and attend events/programs.

Advanced Membership Resources - Take your branding and marketing resources wherever you go with a digital business card and expanded internet resources. You have control of your content, and your Member Assistant is there when you need them to reflect the changing needs of your business. $50 per Chamber Voting Member.

Additional Memberships – Heritage and Legend Level Members that own additional business can purchase additional memberships at a rate of $175. These discounted memberships are treated as Foundation Level members.

The Fine Print - Membership fees are due on an annual basis on January 31st. A member will not be considered in good standing until dues are paid. If member investment is not paid within 120 days of the receipt of renewal notice, they will be made inactive unless otherwise extended for good cause. The death, resignation, expulsion, dissolution or closure of a business shall terminate the member`s membership and all rights incidental thereto with the exception of a business dissolution or closure which may transfer their membership to an individual status. There shall be no refund of fees or dues.
