On Friday, January 26th, healthcare partners, elected officials, Deaconess representatives, and Chamber members gathered to celebrate the new healthcare partnership between Deaconess Illinois and the established practice of Dr. James Alexander and his medical partners. Ribbon Cutting guests were greeted by Dr. Alexander and Chamber Board Chair Deborah Hogg. Mayor Michael Absher and State Representative Paul Jacobs spoke about the importance of quality healthcare to meet the growing needs of our area.

MARION, IL – Deaconess Illinois Clinic will celebrate the opening of Deaconess Illinois Clinic – Professional Park with a ribbon cutting and open house from 11 AM to 1 PM Friday, January 26.
The new facility will serve as a primary care physician’s office.
Current Deaconess Illinois Clinic physician James Alexander; Physician Assistant Jennifer Alexander; Family Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse Nick Turner; Family Nurse Practitioner Dietra Angelly; and Nurse Practitioner Kalinda Dunning will all move from their current location into the new building.
